Go Green Fashion: Host a White Rose Clothing Bank
More recycling for free
Councils are now taking less waste or reducing collections. Our services allows your customers to divert clothing waste from your general bins to our purpose-built clothes bank. Each cloths bank holds 120 kg’s of donated clothing and on average we empty these every two weeks, the contents are then recycled in our sorting centre. A vast amount of these donations would have been going into your general waste system.
Reduced carbon footprint and landfill
It is estimated that 25% of clothing, at the end of its first life, ends up on landfill. We give clothes a second or third life. A simple t-shirt takes 120 litres of water to make as the starting point. There’s then the dyeing, manufacturing, transport and ultimately the disposal. Giving a second life to a garment halves the potential carbon footprint!
Each clothing bank can hold approx 20 x 6kg bin liners of clothing. The compact size means it can fit into almost any space in a building car park or bin store.
Can be located indoors or outdoors.
Meets the highest standards of security with its unique vandal-proof bolt lock and chute mechanism.
Fully compliant to health, safety and fire regulations.

What do I get out of supporting the placement of a bank?
Firstly an immediate story to tell your customers about how you have negotiated a new free service for them. We know from our existing 200+ sites that residents love this service. We also periodically let you know the value of whats been collected as we weight every collection. Another brilliant result that you’ve engineered, these stories are great for social media.
A new charity to add to your existing good cause list
Our average bank raises $x.xx per year once we have recycled and sold the contributions from your customers. If we can place multiple banks with you this can be a substantial amount of money to add to your charitable activities.
